Isaïe Desroches, 83, of Memramcook East died at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton, Saturday.
Born in St. Marie de Kent, he was the son of the late Maxime and Euphémie (Collette) Desroches. He was employed by former premier Louis Robichaud in Fredericton for eight years. He was a member of Pré-d’en-Haut Golden Age Club.
He is survived by his wife, the former Nelda Melanson; two daughters, Mrs. Normand Dupuis (Anna) of Memramcook East, and Mrs Paul Emile Saulnier (Odette) of Pré-d’en-Haut; three sisters, Mrs. Allain Landry (Marie), Mrs. Henri Pellerin (Rosanne), and Mrs. Eugène LeBlanc (TiIda), of Moncton; one brother Néri of Sunny Brae and four grand children. A sister, Mrs Albert Girouard (Amanda), and three brothers, Edmond, Cyrille and Olivier, died previously
The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.The mass will be celebrated Wednesday from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
